It’s hard to find an authentic Italian Wood fired pizza on the North Shore / Northern Beaches. Look no further as this place has it all. This restaurant is a stand out for me. I love fine dining and really enjoy meeting up with friends and family in places where the food is great and the atmosphere is vibrant. For me, this is one of the best restaurants in Sydney. The food is always consistent and amazing, the staff are always friendly and the experience is authentic. This is my favorite restaurant in Sydney and I couldn’t recommend it higher!! Love the take-away option too, so glad I can still get my Cavallino’s fix at home too! 5 stars!!Timothy N
What a great first night dining out, seated near the open fire place we could have been in Italy dining at a rustic hunting lodge, but we are indeed in Terrey Hills. Service was excellent, very friendly but not intrusive. Great Italian wine selection. The food was as promised authentic & rustic, warm bread from the wood fired oven & simply amazing. Had a wonderful evening. The calamari was fantastic and the rocket salad is to die for. The staff are very friendly, have an excellent knowledge of their wine list and were able to recommend the perfect wine to accompany my pork belly, which melted in my mouth.Niell Ross
Lovely place! The service was absolutely amazing, everyone super nice and welcoming. As a vegan the vegan options are always a kind of worrying issue haha and I can’t stress enough how much I enjoy it! I had to tell them to stop bringing food because I couldn’t possibly keep eating, but it was a shame because I bet the rest would have been amazing too! Seatings are limited to 90 minutes on Friday and Saturday evenings unless otherwise confirmed for larger groups.
Minimum spend and deposit requirements apply for group bookings and functions for 8+ guests (maximum 20 guests currently) – please email ciao@cavallino.com.au with your function date and preferred time.
Please note, we cannot hold bookings for late tables.
We require credit card details to secure all bookings – credit card details are held through a secure third-party platform, now bookit. No shows and late cancellations (within 4 hours of the booking time) will be charged the pre-authority charges as per your booking.
Please note the following surcharges: 10% surcharge on Sundays, 15% surcharge on public holidays, 2.2% on American Express credit cards.
